His heartfelt reflections opens the door to healing the wounds that one accumulates as “rain falls upon the just and the unjust.” Prayer is essential to being in and staying in relationship to God. Dr. Hill is successful in conveying that we are not alone. God is constantly with us in God’s spirit and written word. I highly recommend, Healing For the Soul “Food for Thought!”

Healingforthesoul was a gift from longtime friend and co-worker Dr. Hill.
It is factual and inspirational. I partially read it at first because of my busy schedule, but finding myself picking it up often to read it and meditate on its content. It is current and relative to the world we live in today. It is about forgiveness, being kind and serving one another. It is also about Redemption and Restoration. The “Take-Home Message” is : Where do you want to spend eternity, And Yes, You Do Have a Choice.

This alone for me at least gave me hope , for 1 like Paul I do often have to fight off the serpent and at times I feel like I’m being bit over and over so I pray for help, for guidance. At times I feel alone or not heard but with Gabriel telling David the first time you prayed I heard you , that put a huge smile on my heart. I truly love and enjoy Mr Dr Hills healing for the soul book. It inspired me to also write my own personal poetry. Like others have said in their testimonials this is a great gift to give. Thank you Dr Hill.

Through the course of many IV’s to help me in my cancer journey, Dr. Hill and I connected on a spiritual level as well.
He has such a heart for helping people. In reading his book of poetry, Healing for the Soul, he has beautifully described the mystery of the gospel and the need to believe. I was amazed how he was inspired by God to write down these words. He is certainly a willing disciple and reminds the believer why they believe and the unbeliever why they need Christ. Modern Day Poetry for Modern Day Problems
Inspirational and relatable! The way Dr. Hill is able to shed light on real-life problems, and to do so in limericks, truly is "Healing for the Soul." While my husband and I purchased this book for our own personal growth, we soon found how impactful his poetry is. Our daughters, ages 12 and 14, are inspired and motivated to live a life that reflects God's love and glory. Not only has Dr. Hill's words affected our immediate family, but we also use this book in counseling other couples and encouraging people to become fully devoted followers of Christ. If I could give a higher rating, I would.
The holidays are rapidly approaching, and I can not think of a better gift than the gift of hope, encouragement, and knowing you are loved unconditionally. ❤️ Thank you, Dr. Hill!

5 stars for a perfect rating. I’ve felt like I was on the outside looking in and during that time I didn’t realize GOD was working on my heart. As part of this transition GOD led me to Dr. Hills practice for Ketamine infusions. It was during this time that in casual conversation he mentioned how he came to write this prolific collection of GOD’s truths. My words, not his. He’s much too humble to express it as such. As I read through Healing for the Soul, I can hear GOD encouraging me to read on and grow ever so more. I have purchased 3 books so far but plan to purchase more for family and friends who hunger for Food for Thought. This is one of those lifetime books, I mean books you'll need to read and re-read for a lifetime. This is one of those books you gift to someone you love, or other warriors of the light. This book can be used for one on one study time with your spouse. This book can be used in faith based study groups. This book addresses the many silent issues the body of the church tend to avoid. This book has changed my life and I'm sure it will have the same effect with you once you read it, and apply the knowledge. It's Bible references to everything he says in the book. Please do yourself a huge favor and read it. Share this with people you love, as I am doing the same.
